Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant
Missionary Tyler Peltier passed away preparing for a long term mission in Malawi, Africa. In his last blog post Tyler wrote about how he was going to "Bless the Rains down in Africa." Tyler is truly a model for all missionaries. The planning for the mission to Africa was by no means an easy task. With an original team of five young people, Tyler was the only one who was able to persist in trust and prayer through all the trials and tribulations of planning a mission. In the end Tyler was preparing to go alone, God gave him the grace and the faith to go, even if it meant he needed to go by himself. Tyler was prepared to give up comfort, family, and friends and enter the unknown as a pioneer and as a missionary. In fact, Tyler's faith and conviction was so great that he purchased his one-way airline ticket without enough to even buy a ticket home. He was going to serve God and neighbor in total self-abandomnet and complete surrender to the Will of God. His total trust and reliance on God is a model for us to follow. Missions of Hope wants to encourage young people to walk in Tyler's foot steps and give of themselves in the same heroic way. Tyler, please pray for us.
Memorial FundMissions of Hope established a memorial fund in honor of Tyler. The funds are directed by Tyler's family. As always, 100% of funds raised will be used for the purpose for which the fund was established.
